The ideal director is organized, enthusiastic, and proactive in recruiting contestants and creating opportunities for them to grow. Strong leadership, integrity, and a commitment to inclusivity and excellence are essential. Above all, we are looking for people who want to inspire women to shine — both on stage and in life.

How It Works

​

As a director, you will sign a contract with United World, but you will operate independently by creating your own business or LLC as required in your area. You are responsible for producing and funding your own state, or national pageant, including all expenses involved. United World is not liable for the financial or operational aspects of your program. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that your winners are eligible and prepared to compete at Internationals. Directors are required to pay a yearly sign on fee with each new season contract signing as well as cover their winners’ entry fees into the international competition — this is your only direct obligation to United World. Unlike traditional franchises, there are no franchise fees. Instead, your commitment is reflected through the advancement of your titleholders to the international stage.

Time & Commitment

​​

Directing is both rewarding and demanding. It requires time and dedication to actively recruit contestants, build your program, and produce an event that meets United World standards. Most directors find themselves recruiting year-round and preparing for one main event per year. This is not a franchise purchase — you are not buying the rights to run an independent system. Instead, you are joining as an official United World representative, entrusted with building a strong, successful program in your area.
